Marc Monte has spent over two decades as a litigator and transactional attorney in New York. He earned his juris doctor at Brooklyn Law School while receiving a Dean’s Scholarship and serving as Managing Editor for the nationally recognized Brooklyn Journal of International Law (publishing his analysis of the comparative effects of statutory protocols and market-based pressure on reforms in the Indian garment industry, for which he was awarded the Court of International Trade Bar Association Writing Award).

Marc’s experience crosses a broad range of legal fields including tort law, corporate and commercial disputes, real estate litigation, employment law and surrogate’s court. In addition to his extensive litigation work, Marc has performed transactional work in residential and commercial real estate and leasing, corporate formations and governance, advising not-for-profit corporations, contract drafting and estates work. He has worked closely with several NYC-based startup endeavors, serving as general counsel. He has also served as an adjunct lecturer of legal writing at Brooklyn Law School.
